Anthony Pedroni made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hernan Gervaso sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Fontana kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th match minute, Browns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Santone to maneuver through the defense. Dave Pasquarelli kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Turo Leppilampi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes in the game, Hernan Gervaso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anthony Pedroni having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Attilio Vieri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 35th minute, Hernan Gervaso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hernan Gervaso sped through San Damaso AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Anthony Pedroni. Anthony Pedroni stood somewhat misplaced when Hernan Gervaso came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 41 minute. Hernan Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Pedroni having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Fontana was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes San Damaso AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armin Bergamini. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Attilio Vieri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Browns's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Vieri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Pedroni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demetrio Scafati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Fontana, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Anthony Pedroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gervaso in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Browns's Hernan Gervaso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Pedroni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 66 played minutes San Damaso AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Fontana. Anthony Pedroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Gervaso in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Beppe Cocca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Scafati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, San Damaso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Costantini to maneuver through the defense. If Hernan Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Damaso AFC's Anthony Pedroni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Gervaso in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Gervaso in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Pedroni saved San Damaso AFC from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, San Damaso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beppe Cocca to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Castrucci charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Castrucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Browns booed when San Damaso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Castrucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Browns were the better team. Browns's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
