In a very dangerous position, a player in San Damaso AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, crespo's Arrigo Cattaneo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anthony Pedroni. Corrado Costantini lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in San Damaso AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! San Damaso AFC:s Anthony Pedroni showed great skill when he stopped Arrigo Cattaneo:s penalty. After some careless play in the San Damaso AFC defense, Arrigo Cattaneo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthony Pedroni. The San Damaso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthony Pedroni should have stopped the shot. Anthony Pedroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Bolognini in the 25th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, San Damaso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Del Giudice came free, but Anthony Pedroni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthony Pedroni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberigo Bolognini went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Bruno Di Mascio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Damaso AFC's Anthony Pedroni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save San Damaso AFC from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Di Florio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Pedroni having to interfere. If Alberigo Bolognini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to crespo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Aurelio Grande hit a great ball. The supporters of San Damaso AFC booed when crespo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Di Berardino didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Di Mascio to strike the kick off in the second half. Anthony Pedroni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Bolognini in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Angelo Pomponio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberigo Bolognini in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthony Pedroni saved San Damaso AFC from getting behind. Alessandro Di Florio scored 7-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anthony Pedroni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Alberigo Bolognini notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of San Damaso AFC's Anthony Pedroni. Anthony Pedroni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the game, crespo's Bruno Di Mascio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Pedroni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. crespo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
