The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dario Serafini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Valente, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Bruno Balestra kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Alfonso Urbani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Colon Marrero in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Serafini saved Rock from getting behind. Colon Marrero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Redevil's Colon Marrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Serafini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dario Serafini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colon Marrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Redevil's Ennio Granato got control of the ball when Antonio Simonetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Rock's Domenico Rosi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ennio Granato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 45th match minute, Redevil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniele Belfiore to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Ettore Romanese fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redevil's protests and gave Ettore Romanese a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Rock a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amedeo Di Placido, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Redevil's Ennio Granato. 2-2. Domenico Rosi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Rock's goalkeeper Dario Serafini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Colon Marrero. Colon Marrero struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Dario Serafini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redevil. Saip Sabeddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Serafini having to interfere. Alex Di Croce kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Alfonso Urbani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dario Serafini came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Redevil's Colon Marrero. But to his dismay, Colon Marrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 81st minute, Saip Sabeddin made a precise shot to the right of Dario Serafini. Rock's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Rock's zone, Alex Di Croce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Serafini came out of the goal and Alex Di Croce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Di Croce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Dario Serafini made a huge save. 87 minutes into the game, Alex Di Croce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Serafini. Alex Di Croce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Dario Serafini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fausto Moriggi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 96 minute of play. Redevil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
