In the 5thth minute of the game Hernan Gervaso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bluèrose FC's Eraldo La Marca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Eraldo Santone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Browns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Santone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Gervaso couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Hernan Gervaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Browns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Gervaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Gervaso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eraldo La Marca having to make a save. Hernan Gervaso might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eraldo La Marca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Gervaso ran back to his position shaking his head. Browns's Turo Leppilampi got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hernan Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo La Marca having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Alex Addari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Attilio Vieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eraldo La Marca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eraldo Santone kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Hernan Gervaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bluèrose FC's Eraldo La Marca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attilio Vieri in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bluèrose FC's zone, Hernan Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo La Marca came out of the goal and Hernan Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Turo Leppilampi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eraldo La Marca having to interfere. Turo Leppilampi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bluèrose FC's zone, Hernan Gervaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eraldo La Marca came out of the goal and Hernan Gervaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Addari made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Aurelio Sampo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bluèrose FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Browns the free kick. Aurelio Sampo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Hernan Gervaso sped through Bluèrose FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eraldo La Marca. Hernan Gervaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Eraldo La Marca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Alex Addari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Scafati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo La Marca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Attilio Vieri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Browns's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Hernan Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
