Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Fortunato Quattrocchi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beppe Loiacono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Emanuele Santilli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Ferruccio Di Giovanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Achille De Marchi threw the ball into play from the sideline. TAYLOR's Andrea Scirea quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, TAYLOR's Andrea Scirea got a free kick in the 13th minute. Franco De Gregorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Valeri in the 18th minute of the match. Ferruccio Di Giovanni charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Di Giovanni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TAYLOR's Ferruccio Di Giovanni got a free kick in the 19th minute. Franco De Gregorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Quattrocchi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco De Gregorio came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Lapanza's Fortunato Quattrocchi. But to his dismay, Fortunato Quattrocchi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Atletico Lapanza's Achille De Marchi pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 27 played minutes TAYLOR got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Scirea. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ferruccio Valeri put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Franco De Gregorio. In the 46th minute, Arrigo Giorda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TAYLOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Atletico Lapanza were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferruccio Di Giovanni made a kick off. With his leg Franco De Gregorio managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Atletico Lapanza's Ferruccio Valeri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute Ferruccio Di Giovanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferruccio Valeri in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franco De Gregorio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Atletico Lapanza booed when TAYLOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beppe Loiacono didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, TAYLOR's goalkeeper Franco De Gregorio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Valeri. 66 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Di Giovanni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Emanuele Santilli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute Ferruccio Di Giovanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Caneva kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atletico Lapanza's Ferruccio Valeri got a free kick in the 74th minute. Emanuele Santilli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beppe Loiacono, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Valeri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Lapanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAYLOR the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Atletico Lapanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferruccio Valeri to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
