Attilio Proia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Lalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ciccio Nazzari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Santilli having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Biagio Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FataMorgana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Biagio Guerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuele Santilli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Nazzari in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, FataMorgana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fortunato Quattrocchi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute, Biagio Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciccio Nazzari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Ciccio Nazzari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute FataMorgana were awarded a corner. Camillo Tartaglia went to the cornerflag to take it. Cosimo Lucidi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 27th minute, Ciccio Nazzari made a precise shot to the right of Emanuele Santilli. Atletico Lapanza's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Biagio Guerra in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Santilli saved Atletico Lapanza from getting behind. 34 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goalkeeper Attilio Proia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferruccio Valeri. Emanuele Santilli came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FataMorgana's Biagio Guerra. But to his dismay, Biagio Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Emanuele Santilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FataMorgana's Ernesto Fantasia got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ciccio Nazzari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Santilli having to interfere. After the first half FataMorgana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alfredo Lalli's late challenge caught a FataMorgana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Lalli helped the player get up and apologised. FataMorgana's Biagio Guerra got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Ciccio Nazzari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Santilli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Atletico Lapanza's Emanuele Santilli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Lapanza from getting a goal against them. Cosimo Lucidi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, FataMorgana's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Quattrocchi came free, but Attilio Proia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Biagio Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Biagio Guerra took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Emanuele Santilli to make any attempt to save it. Biagio Guerra struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emanuele Santilli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FataMorgana. When Atletico Lapanza's Fortunato Quattrocchi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FataMorgana's goalie prevented a goal. Alberto Colantoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Biagio Guerra's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Emanuele Santilli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Biagio Guerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. FataMorgana's supporters rose to their feet, but Biagio Guerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Santilli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FataMorgana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
