The referee ignored Alessandria's protests and gave Davide Rulli a yellow card for diving instead. Davide Rulli hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Alessandria's Emiliano Lucente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Ted in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Alessandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Di Gregorio to maneuver through the defense. After 28th play minutes 蔡西誉 shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Emiliano Lucente and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Alessandria getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Enzo Rizzo hit a great ball. Cristian Ted blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Lucente having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Cristian Ted took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Emiliano Lucente to make any attempt to save it. Atletico Benevento's 吴卫天 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Stefano in the 46th minute of play. During the 47th minute of the match Davide Rulli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Davide Rulli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 49 minutes into the game, Carlo Reggianini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alessandria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Benevento the free kick. After 49 played minutes Alessandria got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Reggianini. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 蔡西誉 in the 65th minute of play forced Alessandria's goalkeeper Emiliano Lucente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 蔡西誉 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Lucente having to make a save. Emiliano Lucente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蔡西誉 in the 73rd minute of the match. If Adriano Di Gregorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Adriano Di Gregorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 蔡西誉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Lucente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蔡西誉, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Atletico Benevento's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 蔡西誉 in the 88th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Benevento had played much better football throughout.
