In the 5th minute Bernardo Cancemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Fanfarone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Scurti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciccio Santilli went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of O S V f.c. booed when Rossanese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Rulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rossanese's zone, Daniele Forest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Fanfarone came out of the goal and Daniele Forest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniele Forest scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Fanfarone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Santilli in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Scurti saved O S V f.c. from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Alberigo Rulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, Rossanese's Ciccio Santilli made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Scurti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didi Cornut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Rossanese's Bernardo Fanfarone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Forest in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Celino in the 52nd minute of play forced Rossanese's goalkeeper Bernardo Fanfarone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Santilli in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Scurti saved O S V f.c. from getting behind. Bernardo Fanfarone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Queirós in the 63rd minute of the match. Ademir Queirós could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bernardo Fanfarone made a huge save. Ademir Queirós took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Fanfarone. Bernardo Fanfarone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Rossanese's Bernardo Fanfarone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Forest in the 76th minute of play. Bernardo Fanfarone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniele Forest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Rossanese's Ciccio Santilli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Scurti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Fanfarone made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Berny Mcmahon sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berny Mcmahon got free with Bernardo Fanfarone in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Fanfarone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
