Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fausto Colangelo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fausto Colangelo was a little too slow when Armando Vasco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Ştefan Mârzac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castelnuovo's Fausto Colangelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Castelnuovo from getting a goal against them. f.c. sKRotone's Dan Focșa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Sciotto in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Castelnuovo's goalkeeper Fausto Colangelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Vasco. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Vasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fausto Colangelo. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Castelnuovo got a corner. f.c. sKRotone's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anfilogino Stefano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fausto Colangelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Vasco in the 55th minute of the match. f.c. sKRotone's Armando Vasco got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Vasco in the 60th minute of play forced Castelnuovo's goalkeeper Fausto Colangelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When f.c. sKRotone's Armando Vasco, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for f.c. sKRotone. In the 62nd minute Aldo Prandini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Focșa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinando De Angelis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Colangelo. Castelnuovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. f.c. sKRotone had won after a very even match.
