The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Zuraw in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Colangelo saved Castelnuovo from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Benedykt Zuraw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Colangelo was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After 9 minutes of play, Tonginella's Benedykt Zuraw made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Colangelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Tonginella booed when Castelnuovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Garofalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Virgílio Teves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Castelnuovo's Fausto Colangelo did a great save. In the 22nd minute, Benedykt Zuraw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Colangelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Benedykt Zuraw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute Benedykt Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Colangelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Tonginella's Fausto Ursini got control of the ball when Claudio Sciotto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Colangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Zuraw in the 31st minute of play. Castelnuovo's Fausto Colangelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Zuraw in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Benedykt Zuraw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Colangelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Dybala in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Colangelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 59 minutes, Benedykt Zuraw managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tonginella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedykt Zuraw was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Paolo Dybala made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Colangelo. Castelnuovo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Castelnuovo made a substitution. Ferdinando Albertosi replaced Comunardo Barillari. If Paolo Dybala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Federico Garofalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelnuovo and the Tonginella players grew even worse after the yellow card. Castelnuovo's Antonio Brandolini was substituted for Anfilogino Desiderio. Anfilogino Latini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Fausto Colangelo made a huge save. Attilio De Iuliis hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fausto Colangelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Dybala in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Benedykt Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Colangelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Tonginella's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Sciamanna came free, but Fausto Ursini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anfilogino Stefano kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Fausto Ursini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Prandini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Castelnuovo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tonginella's performance. The match ended with a win for Tonginella.
