Aldo Crisantemo was a little too slow when Benedykt Zuraw got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Aldo Crisantemo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Benedykt Zuraw sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedykt Zuraw got free with Aldo Crisantemo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fausto Ursini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luís do Nascimento in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luís do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Ursini. Tonginella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luís do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Benedykt Zuraw kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tonginella's Fausto Ursini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Castronovo in the 33rd minute of play. Fausto Ursini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Castronovo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Veritas's Aldo Crisantemo got control of the ball when Sang Bango tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fausto Ursini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Castronovo in the 42nd minute of the match. Aldo Crisantemo made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Benedykt Zuraw sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Veritas booed when Tonginella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Teves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedykt Zuraw was the one to do the kick off. Sílvio Luís do Nascimentos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Fausto Ursini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 54th minute Benedykt Zuraw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Crisantemo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Arturo Castronovo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Veritas's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Castronovo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Ursini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Veritas's Danilo Aguilera was substituted for Arturo Castronovo. Danilo Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veritas's Angelo Rocchetti was substituted for Florian Marchetti. Danilo Aguilera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fausto Ursini made a huge save. Fausto Ursini didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Veritas's Sílvio Luís do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Veritas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
