After a defensive mix-up in Veritas's zone, Frank Galli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Crisantemo came out of the goal and Frank Galli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortunato Gatti hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Trento Calcio 1921's Mutlu Baykam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Ciraci in the 23rd minute of play. Aldo Crisantemo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Galli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Veritas's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Galli came free, but Aldo Crisantemo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Di Natale tried in the 27th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Aldo Crisantemo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. When Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Castronovo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mutlu Baykam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Veritas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trento Calcio 1921 the free kick. The supporters of Trento Calcio 1921 booed when Veritas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
