Spectators: 8457 (Terracing: 6344, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 169) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dinei Fernandez started the match with the kick off. Ettore Conte kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Daniele Bucciarelli came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli. But to his dismay, Frank Galli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Trento Calcio 1921's Frank Galli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniele Bucciarelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merceron United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fortunato Gatti was slow to take the kick. During this time Trento Calcio 1921's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Fortunato Gatti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniele Bucciarelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniele Bucciarelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Galli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Dinei Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mutlu Baykam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dinei Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 27 minutes of play, Merceron United's Dinei Fernandez made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mutlu Baykam was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Giacomozzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Frank Galli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Dave Giacomozzi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Galli in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Galli came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Galli in the 44th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Merceron United got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Conte. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Galli to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the game Anthony Catapano made a throw-in which Ettore Conte played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Galli in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniele Bucciarelli saved Merceron United from getting behind. Merceron United's Daniele Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Galli in the 58th minute of play. Anthony Catapano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Alberto Lusi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mutlu Baykam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trento Calcio 1921's goalkeeper Mutlu Baykam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Galli in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniele Bucciarelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute of the match Trento Calcio 1921 got a corner. Merceron United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fortunato Gatti ran over to the corner to take the kick. 83 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Galli came free, but Daniele Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniele Bucciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Galli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Trento Calcio 1921 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Merceron United.
