Alvaro Giusto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciccio Pili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. When Tambet Lodev fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pol. San Giorgio's protests and gave Tambet Lodev a yellow card for diving instead. San Michele AFC made a substitution. Hüsamettin Civanmert replaced Dennis Mosca. Ciccio Pili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Giusto in the 18th minute of play. San Giorgio's Enrico Simeoni made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Motta Rello was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Ciccio Pili managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when San Michele AFC's Alvaro Giusto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koko Mero in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciccio Pili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Koko Mero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ciccio Pili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Koko Mero charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Koko Mero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Edmondo Pezzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Pol. San Giorgio's goal looked a bit too open when Koko Mero came free, but Ciccio Pili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pol. San Giorgio's goalkeeper Ciccio Pili, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgard Galván hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, San Michele AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, one of Pol. San Giorgio:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. San Michele AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Pol. San Giorgio had controlled the match.
