With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Bartolomucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Toppi got free with Mehmet Kerem in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Paulo Renato Bittencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacciola's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Renato Bittencourt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Kerem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Bo Ning in the 20th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASD Real Molinella 1911 were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Cacciola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Segundo Balaunde took the corner. In the 22nd minute of the match, Octavian Humă got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Kerem was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 26 minutes of play, Cacciola's Paulo Renato Bittencourt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Kerem was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Kerem didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 35thth minute of the game Kong Bo Ning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacciola's Eugenio Bartolomucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Real Molinella 1911's zone, Emilio Giancola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Kerem came out of the goal and Emilio Giancola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Kong Bo Ning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Bartolomucci was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Federico Frabetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Kerem read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

51 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kong Bo Ning. Cacciola's Armando Toppi got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dave Lorenzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Bartolomucci having to make a save. Eugenio Bartolomucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Lorenzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Dave Lorenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Renato Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mehmet Kerem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Lorenzi scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugenio Bartolomucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th match minute, ASD Real Molinella 1911 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Lorenzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Dave Lorenzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Toppi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Kerem saved ASD Real Molinella 1911 from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Krastyo Planski's late challenge caught a ASD Real Molinella 1911's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krastyo Planski helped the player get up and apologised. Dave Lorenzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Kerem should have stopped the shot. ASD Real Molinella 1911's Camillo Talamo was substituted for Dave Lorenzi.
