The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Ceresoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Scoca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Mancinelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yağız Ergünay made a great header on Foot Ball Club di Roma's corner, it was just that Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 75th minute Edvard Slæggerup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Antonio Ciraci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabbro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ciraci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvard Slæggerup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Pardini having to make a save. Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Fedele Cimino replaced Yağız Ergünay. Edvard Slæggerup took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Pardini. Alvaro Pardini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
