A hard shot by Nicholas Langsford from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Dobromir Czeszejko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antonio Ciraci kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Sbocco Rosso's Anselmo Di Liddo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Mancinelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alessandro Mancinelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Ålberg in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Ålberg came free, but Alessandro Mancinelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sbocco Rosso getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fabrizio Ricciuti hit a great ball. If Antonio Ciraci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ercole Prandini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Mancinelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Cristoforo Toccaceli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Edvard Slæggerup ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dobromir Czeszejko was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The Sbocco Rosso fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Sbocco Rosso's Ercole Prandini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Fausto Imperiale with Anselmo Di Liddo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dobromir Czeszejko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sbocco Rosso booed when Gabbro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Wawro didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Langsford during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Gabbro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Langsford to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Di Liddo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Mancinelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Gabbro FC's Edvard Slæggerup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Czeszejko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dobromir Czeszejko came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Gabbro FC's Edvard Slæggerup. But to his dismay, Edvard Slæggerup quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Di Liddo in the 66th minute of play. Edvard Slæggerup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dobromir Czeszejko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Ålberg in the 71st minute of play. Karl-Ove Ålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Alessandro Mancinelli made a huge save. Karl-Ove Ålberg made a great header on Sbocco Rosso's corner, it was just that Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli managed to reach the ball for a save. The attack was good, but when Ercole Prandini in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Alessandro Mancinelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ercole Prandini's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Ålberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Mancinelli saved Gabbro FC from getting behind. If Edvard Slæggerup had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Prandini in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Gabbro FC's Alessandro Mancinelli got control of the ball when Ercole Prandini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvard Slæggerup might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dobromir Czeszejko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvard Slæggerup ran back to his position shaking his head.
