With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Pietrantoni in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dobromir Czeszejko saved Sbocco Rosso from getting behind. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercole Prandini in the 30th minute of the match. Sbocco Rosso's Dobromir Czeszejko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sbocco Rosso from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Elia Pietrantoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Elia Pietrantoni made the kick off in the second half.
