Biagio Polo made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Lorenz Klaßen sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Aris Salonicco FC's Biagio Polo got control of the ball when Lorenz Klaßen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beppe Natalucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Michelini in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match AZ Sidion Gravina got a corner. Aris Salonicco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dries Berendt ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Qi Fei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aris Salonicco FC's Biagio Polo did a great save. After 35 minutes of play, AZ Sidion Gravina's Arnoud Nelis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Polo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Cardano in the 38th minute of play forced AZ Sidion Gravina's goalkeeper Beppe Natalucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biagio Polo was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Qi Fei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Qi Fei really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Bernardo De Sisti hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Giampaolo Pazzini got free with Beppe Natalucci in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Aris Salonicco FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adriano Bevilacqua hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aris Salonicco FC's zone, Dries Berendt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Polo came out of the goal and Dries Berendt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Biagio Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenz Klaßen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Felice Di Ruscio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beppe Natalucci was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. AZ Sidion Gravina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
