The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Giusto couldn't finish the play. Alex Rizzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fabiano Violento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Stintino FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Stintino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Vittorio to maneuver through the defense. Old BaoBaB Accademy's Cristoforo Lepori shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Antonello Ranieri but with some difficulty. A collision led to Old BaoBaB Accademy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Norberto Ursino hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Giusto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonello Ranieri saved Stintino FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Armando Di Massimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emiliano Giusto took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonello Ranieri. Antonello Ranieri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 33 minutes of play, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Emiliano Giusto made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonello Ranieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Giusto in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Emiliano Giusto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonello Ranieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Giusto in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonello Ranieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonello Ranieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anfilogino Furia in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
