After 14 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Bianco Sabatini. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Coscia in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Fiordelisi saved FC Mims from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Coscia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Attilio Fiordelisi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Grimaldi was the one to do the kick off. Frank Di Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Casette booed when FC Mims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fedele Carnevale didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi got control of the ball when Ercole Scandella tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Di Meo in the 59th minute of play forced Casette's goalkeeper Bianco Desiderio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Coscia got free with Attilio Fiordelisi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Emilio Grimaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Fiordelisi made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alessandro Coscia sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 70 minutes into the game, when Fedele Carnevale put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Mims fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 71 minutes, Casette's Achille Toccaceli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Attilio Fiordelisi. In the 76th minute of the match, Ercole Scandella got a very nice opportunity to score, but Attilio Fiordelisi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Mims from getting a goal against them. FC Mims's Attilio Fiordelisi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Coscia in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Frank Di Meo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to FC Mims getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ermanno Ottavi hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, FC Mims's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Coscia came free, but Attilio Fiordelisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro Coscia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Attilio Fiordelisi made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Casette's Achille Toccaceli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Attilio Fiordelisi. Attilio Fiordelisi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 96th minute, Enrico Improta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Coscia in the 97th minute of play forced FC Mims's goalkeeper Attilio Fiordelisi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casette played a much better game than FC Mims and deserved their victory. The FC Mims players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
