The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Serginho Ramos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Biagio Tolin. Medoacus Maior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serginho Ramos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The corner led Medoacus Maior's Elia Bosco to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Leiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thiago Leiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtungo Verdejo in the 89th minute of play. Medoacus Maior's Fedele De Rubeis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Leiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 92nd minute Urtungo Verdejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LEBEG Team were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Medoacus Maior's much stronger midfield.
