With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emory Øien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute of the match, Ferdinando Cesarini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urbano Saturnin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A nice corner shot did that Amedeo Vida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Urbano Saturnin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aang Pitono got free with Urbano Saturnin in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gísli Langnickel put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Saturnin. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Fulgenzi in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Aversa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Fulgenzi to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Paes hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Fulgenzi came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Aversa's Emory Øien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Punta in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Cesare Punta made a precise shot to the right of Emory Øien. Aversa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gísli Langnickel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Saturnin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gísli Langnickel in the 96th minute of the match. Aversa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
