Sao Brasola's Deng Jian Bing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciro Scutti, made in the 13th minute of the game. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Di Iulio in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Cesare Punta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amedeo Ronca was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Cesare Punta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Ronca having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Bertoni in the 26th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Alessandro Bertoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Saturnin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Saturnin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Oroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CLC Winter's goalkeeper Amedeo Ronca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Zoff in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Cesare Punta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sao Brasola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesare Punta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessandro Bertoni in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Saturnin saved Sao Brasola from getting behind. When Ciro Zoff came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CLC Winter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Zoff couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alessandro Bertoni to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amedeo Ronca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cesare Punta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Ronca having to interfere. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Zoff in the 56th minute of play. Amedeo Ronca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. CLC Winter's Ciro Zoff got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amedeo Ronca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Punta in the 62nd minute of the match. Amedeo Ronca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesare Punta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Oroni in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Urbano Saturnin saved Sao Brasola from getting behind. Urbano Saturnin was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Enzo Oroni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enzo Oroni really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 70th minute Cesare Punta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Ronca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Berardi got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Dennis Berardi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. It was a well-played corner which Cesare Punta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 79th minute, Cesare Punta made a precise shot to the right of Amedeo Ronca. CLC Winter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Amedeo Ronca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesare Punta went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Sao Brasola's Cido da Rocha was substituted for Elia Di Vincenzo. If Cido da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sao Brasola's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
