In the 7th minute, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Sforza in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Allegretti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Allegretti came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza. But to his dismay, Alvaro Sforza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Armando Allegretti made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. If Alvaro Sforza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Sforza got free with Armando Allegretti in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Sforza in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Allegretti saved Coviolo from getting behind. Alvaro Sforza might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Allegretti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Sforza ran back to his position shaking his head. Coviolo's Armando Allegretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 20th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiano Di Rocco got free with Armando Allegretti in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Coviolo's goalkeeper Armando Allegretti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabiano Di Rocco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Sforza in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Allegretti saved Coviolo from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Alexander Masetti threw the ball into play from the sideline. AC Roma's Mihai Daimacă quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 30 minutes into the game, Alvaro Sforza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Allegretti. Alvaro Sforza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. AC Roma's Mihai Daimacă managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexander Masetti in the 35 minute of the game. The supporters of AC Roma booed when Coviolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Canzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Sforza in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Coviolo's goalkeeper Armando Allegretti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabiano Di Rocco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Armando Allegretti made a huge save. Cristoforo Brillante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmo Nauta in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Sforza made a kick off. Coviolo's Armando Allegretti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes, Alvaro Sforza made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coviolo's Armando Allegretti tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 minutes of play, AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Allegretti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Armando Allegretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Di Rocco, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Alvaro Sforza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gigi Chificeac came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the AC Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigi Chificeac couldn't finish the play. When AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coviolo's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Coviolo defense, Alvaro Sforza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Allegretti. The Coviolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Allegretti should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, AC Roma's Anıl Akdoruk got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Alvaro Sforza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. When AC Roma's Fabiano Di Rocco in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coviolo's goalie prevented a goal. Armando Allegretti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 89th minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coviolo! Alvaro Sforza shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 95 minutes, Javier Della Francesca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the Coviolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Javier Della Francesca hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Roma had played much better football throughout.
