Spectators: 10824 (Terracing: 8119, Seating: 2489, VIP seats: 216) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ercole Fiorentino started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ennio Daniele in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Rotili prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dario Haslem hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A.S. Udinese were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Calenzano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberigo Di Franco took the corner. The corner ended in Alberigo Di Franco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calenzano's Donato Balestra did a great save. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ennio Daniele in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Ennio Daniele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rotili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Balestra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Olsson in the 18th minute of play. Donato Balestra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ercole Fiorentino in the 22nd minute. Alvaro Rotili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ennio Daniele, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Olsson in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Federico Tedeschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Balestra made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Ercole Fiorentino sent off a good shot on target. Alfred Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Rotili having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match Antonello Di Toma sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Rotili skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Fiorentino in the 37th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Donato Balestra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Udinese's zone, Alfred Olsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal and Alfred Olsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Daniele in the 46th minute of play forced A.S. Udinese's goalkeeper Alvaro Rotili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

A.S. Udinese's Alexander Damiani was substituted for Bruno Maranzano. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Olsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Olsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Alvaro Rotili made a huge save. Calenzano's Yaniusky Pardo was substituted for Alessio Santini. A.S. Udinese's Augusto Clemente was substituted for Alberigo Di Franco. Donato Balestra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Bottone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's Alexander Bottone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Balestra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Antonello Di Toma got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Yaniusky Pardo. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Achille Sciamanna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Achille Sciamanna came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Calenzano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achille Sciamanna couldn't finish the play. Arturo Di Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Antonello Di Toma hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Di Matteo's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. 101 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.S. Udinese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antonello Di Toma was slow to take the kick. During this time Calenzano's players had a chance to rest. Fortunato Angelucci tried in the 101st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Alvaro Rotili a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
