An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hibai in the 16th minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Felix Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Fedele Panza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Ivarsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arturo Di Matteo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro got control of the ball when Arturo Di Matteo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Felix Ivarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Arturo Di Matteo sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristoforo Tammaro. Cristoforo Tammaro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Felice Cirigliano made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Hibai. Arturo Di Matteo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Cristoforo Tammaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Di Matteo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Calenzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Haslem to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Lunatics of Arianrhod defense, Arturo Di Matteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Tammaro should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Di Matteo came free, but Cristoforo Tammaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Di Matteo in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Calenzano's Felix Ivarsson got control of the ball when Fedele Panza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Hibai could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Felix Ivarsson however easily saved by the left post. Walter Giusti made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Joel Hibai however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Martini in the 71st minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Felix Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Pierrot Leenpoels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierrot Leenpoels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. If Alessandro Giocondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute Pierrot Leenpoels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Ström to maneuver through the defense. Walter Giusti hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Cristoforo Tammaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierrot Leenpoels in the 92nd minute of play. Pierrot Leenpoels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristoforo Tammaro having to make a save. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Cristoforo Tammaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierrot Leenpoels in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lunatics of Arianrhod players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calenzano.
