Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pál Polgár started the match with the kick off. György Tolnay took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised József Kormos. József Kormos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Krisztián Kállay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without József Kormos having to interfere. When Almásháza VTK's Krisztián Kállay in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Damak's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Almásháza VTK booed when Damak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Buday didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes, Almásháza VTK's Lénárd Kereki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper József Kormos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Almásháza VTK reached it. Pál Vadas was a little too slow when Pál Polgár got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 27 minutes, Balázs Balogh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Damak and the Almásháza VTK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Damak's Balázs Balogh got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Krisztián Kállay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Almásháza VTK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Pál Polgár put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pál Vadas. When Almásháza VTK's Krisztián Kállay in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Damak's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Damak's zone, György Tolnay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. József Kormos came out of the goal and György Tolnay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Krisztián Kállay put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of József Kormos. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krisztián Kállay to strike the kick off in the second half. Péter Fábián received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. József Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Almásháza VTK's Pál Vadas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pál Polgár in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pál Pálosi in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pál Vadas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krisztián Kállay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. József Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Damak's zone, György Tolnay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. József Kormos came out of the goal and György Tolnay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Krisztián Kállay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pál Polgár recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Krisztián Kállay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but József Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pál Vadas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Polgár in the 77th minute of play. When Damak's Pál Pálosi in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Almásháza VTK's goalie prevented a goal. József Kormos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Kállay in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, György Tolnay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. József Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krisztián Kállay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Tolnay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but József Kormos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Krisztián Kállay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
