Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brúnó Hudák started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Örs Simkó notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Földeák United's Ákos Jászberényi. Ákos Jászberényi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. József Latabár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Patrik Hidegkúti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Földeák United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Urbán to maneuver through the defense. Ákos Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brúnó Hudák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brúnó Hudák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ákos Jászberényi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Iván Kalmár had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Hidegkúti. Pál Utcai Fiúk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iván Kalmár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ákos Jászberényi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brúnó Hudák, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Máté Huszár hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Pál Utcai Fiúk's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Kalmár came free, but Patrik Hidegkúti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örs Simkó got free with Ákos Jászberényi in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pál Utcai Fiúk's Patrik Hidegkúti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lajos Újfalussy in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brúnó Hudák in the 42nd minute of play forced Földeák United's goalkeeper Ákos Jászberényi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Róbert Baróti hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Gábor Takács hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. József Latabár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Hidegkúti having to make a save. After the first half Földeák United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. József Latabár was the one to do the kick off. Ákos Jászberényi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brúnó Hudák in the 52nd minute of the match. Máté Huszár charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máté Huszár the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Földeák United getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Máté Huszár hit a great ball. Lajos Újfalussy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrik Hidegkúti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lajos Újfalussy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Hidegkúti having to make a save. After 63 played minutes Földeák United got a freekick which was hit by József Urbán. Vilmos Szűcs hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Földeák United's Endre Bihari broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Patrik Hidegkúti came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Földeák United's József Latabár. But to his dismay, József Latabár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lajos Újfalussy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iván Kalmár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Hidegkúti having to interfere. Földeák United's Norbert Szabados got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If József Latabár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Hidegkúti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from József Latabár in the 85th minute of play. Ákos Jászberényi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örs Simkó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, József Latabár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Földeák United's supporters crossed their fingers, but József Latabár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
