Vilmos Sóti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Róbert Lendvay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Koczka charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed János Koczka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Rumpelstilskin got a freekick which was hit by János Koczka. Arnold Herman's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Róbert Lendvay on his right side and into the goal. 16 minutes into the game it was 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Richárd Fazekas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pálfiszeg AC's Béla Gervai. Béla Gervai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Róbert Lendvay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Sárkány, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rumpelstilskin's goalkeeper Róbert Lendvay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rumpelstilskin's Róbert Lendvay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Rumpelstilskin from getting a goal against them. Henrik Sárkány received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Róbert Lendvay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilmos Sóti got free with Róbert Lendvay in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Béla Gervai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Béla Bodnár in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Béla Bodnár to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rumpelstilskin's János Koczka got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Henrik Sárkány had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pálfiszeg AC booed when Rumpelstilskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Bodnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richárd Fazekas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Béla Gervai having to interfere. László Pucheli hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Rumpelstilskin's Róbert Lendvay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Sárkány in the 75th minute of play. Vilmos Sóti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbert Lendvay having to interfere. Pálfiszeg AC's Béla Gervai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Béla Bodnár in the 78th minute of play. Vilmos Sóti took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbert Lendvay. Róbert Lendvay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Béla Bodnár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rumpelstilskin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
