When Béla Matolcsy fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Csány LC's protests and gave Béla Matolcsy a yellow card for diving instead. 8 minutes into the game, Károly Soós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tamás Kósa. Károly Soós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Mihály Udvari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Benczur went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mihály Udvari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Benczur in the 19th minute of play. Zoltán Benczur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihály Udvari having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Róbert Szily shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Udvari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veszprém Futtball Club's Tamás Kósa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Veszprém Futtball Club from getting a goal against them. Mihály Udvari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zoltán Benczur's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Zalán Kalmár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Zoltán Benczur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Csány LC's Mihály Udvari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tamás Kósa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Matolcsy, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, Veszprém Futtball Club's Zalán Kalmár nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihály Udvari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Károly Soós took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tamás Kósa. Tamás Kósa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Zoltán Benczur came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Veszprém Futtball Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoltán Benczur couldn't finish the play. Zoltán Benczur struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Mihály Udvari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veszprém Futtball Club. Mihály Udvari was a little too slow when Zoltán Benczur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 62nd match minute, Veszprém Futtball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zalán Kalmár to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Zoltán Benczur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Csány LC's Mihály Udvari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frigyes Petres scored 3-3 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamás Kósa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zoltán Benczur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihály Udvari having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Csány LC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcell Kaszás to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 76 minutes, Zoltán Benczur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Veszprém Futtball Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltán Benczur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Róbert Szily received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mihály Udvari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoltán Benczur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihály Udvari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. When Lajos Dávid came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Veszprém Futtball Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lajos Dávid couldn't finish the play. Tamás Kósa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Károly Soós in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Csány LC could leave the field as winners, despite Veszprém Futtball Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
