Lajos Andrássy hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Sándor Tímár came free, but Simon Zombori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gergely Albert in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Zombori saved Nottingham Forest from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Lajos Andrássy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ervin Sarkady made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Gergely Albert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Simon Zombori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Nottingham Forest getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Simon Németh hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pusztacsalád VTK's Tibor Fazekas tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Péter Kiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yasen Mandane during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pusztacsalád VTK booed when Nottingham Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yasen Mandane didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nottingham Forest's zone, Péter Kiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Zombori came out of the goal and Péter Kiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gergely Újváry came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Nottingham Forest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gergely Újváry couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Péter Kiss made a precise shot to the right of Simon Zombori. Nottingham Forest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gergely Újváry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ervin Sarkady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pusztacsalád VTK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Nottingham Forest side.
