In the 3rd match minute, Garbolc VSC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ágoston Kerekes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Garbolc VSC booed when FC.ATLETRIKÓ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olivér Hudák didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, FC.ATLETRIKÓ's goalkeeper Dénes Pál had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by József Kun. If József Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, József Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, FC.ATLETRIKÓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richárd Kovács to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Garbolc VSC's Richárd Balla got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, József Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garbolc VSC's supporters crossed their fingers, but József Kun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Olivér Hudák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renátó Nyíri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richárd Balla hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Olivér Hudák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Bencik hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Renátó Nyíri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivér Hudák in the 38th minute of play. Alex Bencik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC.ATLETRIKÓ fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when FC.ATLETRIKÓ's Olivér Hudák looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and József Kun made a kick off. After 52 minutes, József Kun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garbolc VSC and the FC.ATLETRIKÓ players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, József Kun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC.ATLETRIKÓ booed when Garbolc VSC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richárd Balla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Fülöp Sinka in the 57th minute really tested Renátó Nyíri's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 59 played minutes Garbolc VSC got a freekick which was hit by József Kun. Olivér Hudák might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renátó Nyíri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olivér Hudák ran back to his position shaking his head. József Kun kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Olivér Hudák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC.ATLETRIKÓ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Olivér Hudák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, FC.ATLETRIKÓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Bencik to maneuver through the defense. József Kun struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Dénes Pál didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garbolc VSC. 80 minutes into the match, Garbolc VSC's György Vágner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dénes Pál narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olivér Hudák scored 0-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renátó Nyíri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Garbolc VSC's goalkeeper Renátó Nyíri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olivér Hudák. When the match was over FC.ATLETRIKÓ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garbolc VSC throughout the match.
