He walked away shaking his head. Illés Gácsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurél Papp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Újfehértó's Frigyes Nemes got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Bodrogkeresztúr's Aurél Papp ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Illés Gácsi. Illés Gácsi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ervin Benkó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Illés Gácsi having to interfere. Bodrogkeresztúr's István Gulyás got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, István Gulyás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vendel Bodor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurél Papp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Illés Gácsi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurél Papp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Újfehértó's goalkeeper Illés Gácsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Újfehértó players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bodrogkeresztúr.
