In the 15thth minute of the game Zsolt Majer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ExxonMobil FC.'s Dávid Iványi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tamás Kocsis struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dávid Iványi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Nagyatád. Nándor Pál-Szabó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Segesváry in the 24th minute of play. If Tamás Kocsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Segesváry in the 30th minute of play forced FC Nagyatád's goalkeeper Nándor Pál-Szabó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Zsolt Majer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dávid Iványi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Ábrahám took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dávid Iványi. ExxonMobil FC.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, János Segesváry managed to get in a good position for a shot. ExxonMobil FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but János Segesváry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nándor Pál-Szabó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 38 minutes, Balázs Szakály managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nagyatád's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Szakály was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the ExxonMobil FC. defense, Zsolt Majer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dávid Iványi. The ExxonMobil FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dávid Iványi should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Balázs Szakály managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nagyatád's supporters rose to their feet, but Balázs Szakály was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dávid Iványi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibor Lakatos's late challenge caught a FC Nagyatád's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tibor Lakatos helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half FC Nagyatád were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zsolt Majer made the kick off in the second half. If Zsolt Majer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ExxonMobil FC.'s zone, Zsolt Majer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dávid Iványi came out of the goal and Zsolt Majer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Balázs Szakály came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Nagyatád fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Szakály couldn't finish the play. Zsolt Majer scored 0-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dávid Iványi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 minutes, Vendel Dömötör mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Nagyatád and the ExxonMobil FC. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Nagyatád getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Vendel Dömötör hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes FC Nagyatád got a freekick which was hit by Balázs Szakály. 66 minutes into the match, ExxonMobil FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zsolt Majer came free, but Dávid Iványi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamás Kocsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dávid Iványi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, ExxonMobil FC.'s Antal Hegyi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nándor Pál-Szabó was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, FC Nagyatád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dániel Kovács to maneuver through the defense. If János Segesváry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ExxonMobil FC.'s Dániel Kocsis got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Zsolt Majer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zsolt Majer scored 1-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dávid Iványi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tamás Kocsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
