When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Domingos Colon took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for György Bács to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Manolis Vardakas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treviso's supporters rose to their feet, but Manolis Vardakas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Bács breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without György Bács having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Andrássy was the one to do the kick off. Domingos Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Colon in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck György Bács prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Domingos Colon came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Treviso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Colon couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Norbert Pataki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Treviso's Domingos Colon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. György Bács made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Ákos Bánhegyi made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gergely Kovács sent off a good shot on target. György Bács showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Colon in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nagyszekeres's zone, Manolis Vardakas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. György Bács came out of the goal and Manolis Vardakas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Treviso walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
