When Tamás Czibor fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bödeháza SE's protests and gave Tamás Czibor a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Bödeháza SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Czibor to maneuver through the defense. After 18 minutes of play, Bödeháza SE's Attila Végh made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferenc Solti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Attila Végh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ferenc Solti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bödeháza SE defense, Mihály Sipos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egon Várdai. The Bödeháza SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egon Várdai should have stopped the shot. Emánuel Bodor took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Várdai. Egon Várdai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Attila Végh struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ferenc Solti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bödeháza SE. Bödeháza SE's Egon Várdai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Sipos in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Endre Kodály managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bödeháza SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Endre Kodály was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Attila Végh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Endre Kodály stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferenc Solti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Endre Kodály in the 53rd minute of play. Attila Végh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Emánuel Bodor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újkenéz Spartacus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Endre Kodály fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferenc Solti having to interfere. Endre Kodály received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ferenc Solti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Újkenéz Spartacus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szabolcs Kocsis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Újkenéz Spartacus's zone, Attila Végh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Solti came out of the goal and Attila Végh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Újkenéz Spartacus's goal looked a bit too open when Endre Kodály came free, but Ferenc Solti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Mihály Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Várdai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emánuel Bodor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Emánuel Bodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Szabolcs Kocsis charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szabolcs Kocsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Szabolcs Kocsis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Újkenéz Spartacus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bödeháza SE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
