The Csepel FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Csepel FC's Andor Komáromi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Sajószentpéter FC's zone, Tadeusz Ruzicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivér Kulcsár came out of the goal and Tadeusz Ruzicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Sajószentpéter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Kállai came free, but Olivér Kulcsár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sajószentpéter FC's Kálmán Szentesi got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ottó Kállai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Olivér Kulcsár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Csepel FC's Simon Varga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Simon Varga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Csepel FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Simon Varga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Csepel FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sajószentpéter FC:s goal. Alex Szabados did an outstanding performance 30 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Dénes Rákosi in the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Csepel FC's Ottó Kállai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olivér Kulcsár made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 45 minutes into the match, Sajószentpéter FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Kállai came free, but Olivér Kulcsár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Csepel FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ottó Kállai in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olivér Kulcsár saved Sajószentpéter FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Ottó Kállai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Olivér Kulcsár. That made the score 1-5 in the 58 minute of play. A collision led to Sajószentpéter FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. István Ballai hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Tadeusz Ruzicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Csepel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sajószentpéter FC the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Csepel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Ruzicki to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Csepel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kálmán Szentesi came free, but Dénes Rákosi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Ottó Kállai lined in a short shot 1-6 behind a frustrated Olivér Kulcsár. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ottó Kállai got free with Olivér Kulcsár in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Olivér Kulcsár managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Csepel FC's Ottó Kállai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Csepel FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sajószentpéter FC.
