In the 4th minute Henrik Katona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Katona in the 11th minute of play forced Apaj's goalkeeper Mihály Kiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apaj's Mihály Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elek Ács in the 12th minute of play. László Győrffy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Henrik Katona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiszanána EAC's Elek Ács got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Norbert Gerő had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferenc Medgyesi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Antal Bihari. Elek Ács struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Mihály Kiss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiszanána EAC. In the 38th minute, Henrik Katona made a precise shot to the right of Mihály Kiss. Apaj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Tiszanána EAC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Norbert Gerő struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ferenc Medgyesi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apaj. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tihamér Sinkó in the 55th minute of play forced Tiszanána EAC's goalkeeper Ferenc Medgyesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Elek Ács managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiszanána EAC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elek Ács was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferenc Medgyesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tihamér Sinkó, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Apaj's Bálint Rahner got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Elek Ács had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Katona succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Norbert Gerő received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ferenc Medgyesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tiszanána EAC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
