Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kenézlõ's Tibor Pálinkás started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Szeleste got a freekick which was hit by Ottó Boros. Tibor Pálinkás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Leó Sebők tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kálmán Tar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tamás Bencik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Botond Varsányi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tamás Bencik, 1-0. If Mihály Novák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Kálmán Tar fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szeleste's protests and gave Kálmán Tar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Szeleste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Tar to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Kálmán Tar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leó Sebők showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihály Novák in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Tibor Pálinkás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mihály Novák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibor Pálinkás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leó Sebők having to interfere. Tamás Bencik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lénárd Tímár in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Kenézlõ's goal looked a bit too open when Lénárd Tímár came free, but Tamás Bencik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Lénárd Tímár fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

A collision led to Kenézlõ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Richárd Kovács hit a great ball. Kenézlõ's Tamás Bencik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Botond Varsányi in the 52nd minute of play. Botond Varsányi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tamás Bencik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mihály Novák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Örs Lehoczky took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tamás Bencik. Kenézlõ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Kenézlõ's Mihály Novák made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leó Sebők was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihály Novák could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Leó Sebők made a huge save. Mihály Novák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Lénárd Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tamás Bencik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botond Varsányi scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tamás Bencik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Kenézlõ's goal looked a bit too open when Botond Varsányi came free, but Tamás Bencik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamás Bencik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lénárd Tímár in the 96th minute of the match. Kenézlõ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
