The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Valentin Havass was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feketeerdõ Spartacus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kenézlõ the free kick. 4 minutes into the game, one of Feketeerdõ Spartacus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Kenézlõ. János Kósa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving János Csonka. 0-1. Balázs Csontoss short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Tamás Bencik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Balázs Csontos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feketeerdõ Spartacus's supporters rose to their feet, but Balázs Csontos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tamás Bencik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tamás Bencik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Csontos in the 34th minute of the match. In the 46th minute Mihály Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Csonka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibor Pálinkás to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Kenézlõ's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Csontos came free, but Tamás Bencik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Kenézlõ's János Csonka threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tibor Pálinkás, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kenézlõ's goalkeeper Tamás Bencik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. János Csonka was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Mihály Novák capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mihály Novák really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 79th minute, Feketeerdõ Spartacus's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mihály Novák fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Balázs Csontos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás Bencik having to interfere. Kenézlõ's Tamás Bencik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertold Latabár in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Kenézlõ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andor Sebestyén to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kenézlõ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
