Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Péter Pálfi started the match with the kick off. László Nyilasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábián Kollár having to interfere. Tamás Csáki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nemti! 9 minutes into the match, Péter Pálfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zsolt Kiss. Nemti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Péter Pálfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vilmos Pucheli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Zsolt Kiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zsolt Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Péter Pálfi in the 24th minute of the match. When Ferenc Győri fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Újpest Football Club's protests and gave Ferenc Győri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Péter Pálfi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zsolt Kiss was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Vilmos Pucheli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Újpest Football Club's Vilmos Pucheli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zsolt Kiss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vilmos Pucheli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Kiss having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Dániel Sinkó hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Újpest Football Club's Péter Pálfi in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nemti's goalie prevented a goal. Péter Pálfi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when György Urbán made the kick off in the second half. Zsolt Kiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Péter Pálfi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Péter Pálfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zsolt Kiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When György Urbán came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Nemti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that György Urbán couldn't finish the play. Vilmos Pucheli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zsolt Kiss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Márton Bodó, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nemti:s Zsolt Kiss showed great skill when he stopped Márton Bodó:s penalty. Zsolt Kiss came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Újpest Football Club's Márton Bodó. But to his dismay, Márton Bodó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Péter Pálfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vilmos Pucheli came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Újpest Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilmos Pucheli couldn't finish the play. Péter Pálfi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Nemti's Zsolt Kiss got control of the ball when Vilmos Pucheli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kornél Ács blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábián Kollár having to make a save. When the final whistle sounded Újpest Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nemti.
