An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Nagy in the 13th minute of play forced GYŐRI ETO FC's goalkeeper Géza Baráth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bakóca getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gergely Szél hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adorján Szegh during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 29 minutes, Imre Nagy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Renátó Peterdy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szabolcs Dudás to strike the kick off in the second half. When Róbert Vígh came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Bakóca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Vígh couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bakóca booed when GYŐRI ETO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adorján Szegh didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th match minute, GYŐRI ETO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lajos Pálffy to maneuver through the defense. Károly Benedek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Gergely Szél had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurél Bíró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77thth minute of the game Valentin Szusza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GYŐRI ETO FC's Géza Baráth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lajos Pálffy during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes GYŐRI ETO FC got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Pálffy. After having played for 84 minutes, Valentin Szusza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bakóca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Szusza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GYŐRI ETO FC's Lajos Pálffy got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Lajos Pálffy off the ground. Lajos Pálffy hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Valentin Szusza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bakóca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GYŐRI ETO FC for a fine match.
