Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Videoton FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Dobránszky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Tokaji breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. István Sallói fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Tokaji having to interfere. After 19 played minutes, Energia SC's Fülöp Balogh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roland Borsó came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Energia SC reached it. Videoton FC's Mátyás Dankó got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. István Sallói recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zoltán Szőllőssy kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Imre Markovits struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. János Tokaji didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Videoton FC. János Tokaji showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristóf Víg in the 33rd minute of the match. István Sallói succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. István Sallói's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but János Tokaji read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Kristóf Víg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Tokaji having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Videoton FC's Kristóf Víg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

István Sallói took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised János Tokaji. János Tokaji dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 58 minutes, Károly Dobránszky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Videoton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Dobránszky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Energia SC's János Tokaji played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Károly Dobránszky in the 64th minute of play. István Sallói received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. János Tokaji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, István Sallói hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Videoton FC's goalkeeper Roland Borsó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by István Sallói during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Videoton FC's István Sallói got a free kick in the 75th minute. Arnold Csank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Kristóf Víg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of János Tokaji. Energia SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristóf Víg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Arnold Csank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. János Tokaji didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Videoton FC's Károly Dobránszky shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
