When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Robert Oldenborger sped through Mohora SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miklós Kováts. Milán Sólyom kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Norbert Almási fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bálint Sós having to interfere. In the 41st minute Robert Oldenborger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miklós Kováts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miklós Zornánszky struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Miklós Kováts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hidas SK.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hidas SK played a much better game than Mohora SC and deserved their victory. The Mohora SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
