Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bázakerettye SE's József Jánosi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Bázakerettye SE's Zoltán Bertha in 5 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Róbert Sámuel guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 5th match minute, Hejőmenti SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Rákosi to maneuver through the defense. Róbert Sámuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Jánosi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Sándor Bártfai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Szűcs in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szabolcs Kormos saved Bázakerettye SE from getting behind. Sándor Bártfai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hejőmenti SK's Attila Szűcs got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Attila Szűcs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szabolcs Kormos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szabolcs Kormos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sándor Bártfai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Sándor Bártfai notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bázakerettye SE's Szabolcs Kormos. Szabolcs Kormos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sándor Bártfai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Szabolcs Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hejőmenti SK's Attila Szűcs in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Hejőmenti SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Szabolcs Kormos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Zoltán Bertha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Róbert Sámuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sándor Bártfai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Szabolcs Kormos made a huge save. Attila Szűcs might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szabolcs Kormos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Attila Szűcs ran back to his position shaking his head. If József Jánosi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoltán Bertha in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbert Sámuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 played minutes Hejőmenti SK got a freekick which was hit by Máté Puskás. József Jánosi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Róbert Sámuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
