After a rather tough play, Ferencvárosi Torna Club's Gergely Komáromi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Dávid Holló, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 26 played minutes Ferencvárosi Torna Club got a freekick which was hit by Árpád Holló. 28 minutes into the match, Ferencvárosi Torna Club's goal looked a bit too open when Attila Bognár came free, but Gábor Somlyai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Csanád Pénzes struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gábor Somlyai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Debreceni Sportiskola. With a little luck, Debreceni Sportiskola's Nándor Kovács got control of the ball when Mihály Mesterházy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mátyás Horváth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nándor Kovács tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ferencvárosi Torna Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Debreceni Sportiskola were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attila Bognár stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mátyás Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nándor Kovács having to interfere. If Csanád Pénzes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihály Mesterházy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nándor Kovács having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Mátyás Horváth elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 80 minutes, Mihály Mesterházy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferencvárosi Torna Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihály Mesterházy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mátyás Horváth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Attila Bognár, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gábor Somlyai was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Endre Somlyai hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Csanád Pénzes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mátyás Horváth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Attila Bognár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Gábor Somlyai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ferencvárosi Torna Club getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Gergely Komáromi hit a great ball. Debreceni Sportiskola were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
