Ferencvárosi Torna Club's Gábor Somlyai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoltán Végvári in the 29th minute of play. Kornél Kaiser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihály Mesterházy in the 31st minute of play. György Baranyai hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Levél's Zoltán Végvári sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gábor Somlyai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Antal Baróti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Levél's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Baróti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gábor Somlyai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zoltán Végvári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gábor Somlyai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Végvári in the 58th minute of the match. Antal Baróti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gábor Somlyai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mihály Mesterházy came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ferencvárosi Torna Club fans jumped to their feet. If Zoltán Végvári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levél's Kornél Kaiser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Levél from getting a goal against them. Levél's Antal Baróti got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gábor Somlyai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Baróti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Mihály Mesterházy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferencvárosi Torna Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihály Mesterházy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mátyás Horváth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kornél Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
