József Szusza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Péter Mayer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zakariás Hegyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Károly Markovits, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Brúnó Bíró notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Péter Mayer. Péter Mayer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 defense, Brúnó Bíró kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Péter Mayer. The Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Péter Mayer should have stopped the shot. Zakariás Hegyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Markovits in the 22nd minute of the match. Valentin Vadász in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zakariás Hegyi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Péter Mayer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brúnó Bíró in the 27th minute of play. Valentin Vadász received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zakariás Hegyi came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Vadász slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 33rd minute. Árpád Demeter kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th match minute, Southampton 1885 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihály Simon to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Csaba Balogh during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Csaba Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 43 minutes Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Fejes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Southampton 1885's Norbert Fejes to fire away a dangerous shot which Péter Mayer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Southampton 1885's goal looked a bit too open when Károly Markovits came free, but Zakariás Hegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Southampton 1885 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Brúnó Bíró made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Örs Szigethy during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Örs Szigethy hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Károly Markovits made a precise shot to the right of Zakariás Hegyi. Southampton 1885's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Mihály Simon charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihály Simon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihály Simon kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Valentin Vadász blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zakariás Hegyi having to make a save. Károly Markovits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zakariás Hegyi having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Southampton 1885 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Lokomotiv Rákos 1876. István Erős stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zakariás Hegyi. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Örs Szigethy got a free kick in the 78th minute. After having played for 80 minutes, József Szusza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southampton 1885's supporters crossed their fingers, but József Szusza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Károly Markovits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Southampton 1885's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vadász came free, but Zakariás Hegyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Károly Markovits managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's supporters rose to their feet, but Károly Markovits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zakariás Hegyi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Vadász struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zakariás Hegyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Rákos 1876. After 93 minutes of play, Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Károly Markovits made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zakariás Hegyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute, Károly Markovits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Southampton 1885 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
