But to his dismay, Károly Markovits quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Valentin Vadász had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bálint Somogyi fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Bálint Somogyi a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in AC Milan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Lokomotiv Rákos 1876. István Erős stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving István Mester. 0-3. Árpád Demeter charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Árpád Demeter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Árpád Demeter got a free kick in the 29th minute. Péter Mayer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sándor Szőke in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Károly Markovits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Mester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Sándor Szőke got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes, Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's István Erős shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper István Mester came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 reached it. Károly Markovits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The AC Milan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 were winning 0-4.

After having played for 64 minutes, Valentin Vadász managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Vadász was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Károly Markovits received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. István Mester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Valentin Vadász managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Vadász was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. István Mester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Károly Markovits got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Vadász recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Valentin Vadász got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Károly Markovits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. István Mester was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Károly Markovits showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 90 minute of play. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Lokomotiv Rákos 1876 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Örs Szigethy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lokomotiv Rákos 1876's Péter Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sándor Szőke in the 95th minute of play. István Mester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Károly Markovits's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
